Hard working band since 1967, when Chicken Shack signed to just-happen-to-be-born Mike Vernon’s Blue Horizon label, Stan Webb’s Chicken Shack is still alive and well. Stan Webb’s guitar sound is the perfect signature of the British Blues style which the band helped to shape in those such glorious days. Based on Webb’s B.B. King’s related guitar tecniques and on his vocal approach to the blues you can close your yeas and be back in the sixties’ blues boom. Latest Chicken Shack has class and style, they know how to handle a crowd and the band is tight as ever. Gone are the day of classic masterpieces as “OK Ken“ or “Accept“ (both on Blue Horizon) but the great new is the band sounds today exactly as it sounded in 1973. Take this a compliment, Stan!!!!
