House party third album by regular on the Philadelphia circuit multi instrumentalist Mojo (AKA Stu Bryant)

It takes a while to get into “Real house blues”, third album by Philadelphia based Mojo Stu, well known name on the scene. But as soon as the rhythms gets you going you will be caught into the infectious grooves by Stu and producer Mitch Goldfarb.
“Real house blues” is a very simple records and the computerized rhythmic tracks and grooves are not of the sophisticated kind; this has not to be considered as a problem as far as Mojo builds up his own fascinating counterparts –especially when he picks the National resophonic guitar- and sings with confidence ( “don’t worry“) and honesty. Mojo vocals reminds good ol’ Ritchie Havens and it will be interesting following his progress. “Tm” Stevens, of Joe Cocker and Little Steven ’s fame guests on “ Hoochie mama”, one of the strongest track along with Jimi Hendrix oriented “Lightining (Reprise)”.
